LUSHLY GREEN

The owners of a new Paint Mountain home wanted the master bath to feel like a retreat. Interior designer Laura Birns created this elegantly sensual space with soft-colored marble accented by a white crystal marble countertop.

Vanaties are custom-designed in maple and sapele veneers with cabinets highlighted with textured glass inserts, copper and satin chrome. The light fixture floats above the survace while a glass-block wall creates fluid movement as it curves into the shower.

The bathroom is equipped with radiant heating.

Birns used materials in the space that are recyclable, sustainable, including low-VOC paint. Liting is on dimmers.
